A leading agro-processing company is looking for a qualified candidate to occupy the position of: Canteen Supervisor

Job Purpose

The Canteen Supervisor will manage the company's canteen, supervise the canteen staff and other culinary related events.

Key Responsibilities

•   Plan and supervise cooking of meals
•   Manage food stock levels
•   Prepare and submit operational reports
•   Assist in the purchase and delivery of food items
•   Assist in the recruitment of canteen staff
•   Prepare up to date roster for canteen staff
•   Supervise canteen safety and hygiene
•   Manage and prepare cash float report
•   Prepare and submit quarterly budget - spent and projections
•   Assist in the preparation of annual canteen budgets
•   Any other duties assigned

Qualification Required & Experience

•   HND in Hotel Catering & Institutional Management
•   Advanced Certificate in Catering or a 1st Degree in Catering & Hospitality would be an added advantage
•   2 years' work experience in the canteen of a large company or in a hotel environment
•   Good oral and written English
•   Strong knowledge in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
