Job Vacancy For Chief Accountant At Manuchar Ghana Limited (Tema)



Job Description

•   Handle the full day-to-day accounting in an accurate, organized & timely manner. Both the accounting system as all supporting documents should be kept in perfect order at all times.
•   Preparation of statutory annual reports, tax filings and other local regulatory requirements (GRA, SSNIT, …)
•   Cost accounting & valuation of stock
•   Daily financial reporting; supervision of all cash flows
•   Handling all bank-related matters
•   Supervising the collection of accounts receivable
•   Ensuring cost efficiency and accurate operational and cash budgets
•   Yearly budgets and financial planning with Management
•   Timely financial reporting (internal & towards HQ) + financial analysis
•   Reviewing & enforcing of Administrative & internal control Procedures
•   Act as a advisor to the company’s manager on all accounting & fiscal matters

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A qualified accountant (member of ACCA/ICAG)
•   At least 5 years post exams qualification of which at least 2 in a similar position
•   Experience in auditing would be an advantage
•   Strong knowledge of the Ghanaian tax systems
•   Very good working knowledge of MS Excel; knowledge of Sage Pastel is an asset
