Job Vacancy For Commercial Manager
A new media network with interest in print, radio and television is seeking to recruit a dynamic and high performing Commercial Manager to lead our team in pursuing an aggressive revenue growth strategy aimed at delivering the highest revenue per employee within the market.
The Position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and exist to generate revenue for the business from sales and marketing of programs
The job involves the development of comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, the segmentation of market, identifying service portfolio for each segment as well as ensuring good service and leadership positioning in the marketing
Responsibilities include:
• Lead all revenue and marketing initiatives and strategies in growing the business
• Build an entrepreneurial sales and high performing team consistent at achievement of targets
• Ensure that objectives are met in the areas of market share, customer acquisition and retention and deliver highest revenue per staff in the market in the market
• Ensure a high level of company visibility through effective promotional programs and events
• Select, train, motivate and develop sales personnel to ensure ever improving performance
• Initiate market and competitor research programmes
Key Performance Measures Include:
• Annual Sales and revenue budgets and targets
• Revenue per staff
• Operating cost per sales staff
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of a graduate qualification from any recognised institution
• Minimum of 7 years leadership experience in sales and marketing related position
• Excellent knowledge of brands, brand positioning and the media sector.
• People knowledge, negotiation, outstanding communication and presentation skills
• High level of Business acumen
• High level of Integrity
