Job Vacancy For Company Secretary
A reputable rural bank in the Ashanti Region is currently seeking to employ a qualified person for the position of: Company Secretary
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate Board and Board Sub-Committee meetings in consultation with the General Manager and the Board Chairman
• Take and circulate minutes of proceedings at Board and Executive Management meetings
• Guide the board members collectively and individually as to their duties and responsibilities as required by Law and company policies and regulations
• Provide inputs for the preparation of Board work plan (calendar of activities)
• Coordinate management reports for consideration by the Board Members
• Organise induction programs for newly appointed board members
• Custodian of the Bank's policies and procedures documentation
• Engage in all dealings with the Registrar General's Department on behalf of the Bank
• Manage a Register of shareholders and liaise with them in all matters
• Any other duties to be assigned by the Board of Directors
Qualification Required & Experience
• LLB, or BA Secretaryship or ICSA with 5 years relevant experience
• Applicant should be between the ages of 35 - 40 years
Required Personal Attributes
• A self-motivated individual and a good team leader
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical abilities
