The Golden Beach Hotels (GH Ltd), Parent company of three reputable Ghanaian owned Hotels located in Greater Accra, Central and Western Regions is seeking to recruit the following positions:

Job Title: Conference & Banqueting Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts site inspections for booked events and plans required services the meeting planners
• Develops a working relationship with client to facilitate the booking of future business
• Works closely with hotel departments involved in servicing the convention, updating operating Departments of revisions to meeting arrangements
• checks meeting rooms/arrangements troubleshoot by problems to ensure guest satisfaction
• Works closely with banqueting sales department on operations/meeting execution
• Monitors group room blocks and pickups, generates detailed resumes for the operating departments
• Ensures proper posting of meeting/event schedules
• Works with outside vendors to ensure guest satisfaction for all events/groups
• Ensure event organizers receive the function questionnaire by the last day of the event
• Liaise with function organizer or host on their arrival at the Hotel for the event. Introduce the Banqueting Operations Supervisor or person running the event
• Solves all problems occurring in the area of responsibility
• Performs other duties as required to ensure guest satisfaction

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• A diploma or professional qualification in hotel and catering management
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant post qualification

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage products, proper preparation and presentation of food and beverage items
• Knowledge of meeting room capabilities, banquet set-up, audio visual and any other equipment details as they relate to the function room set up.

Location: Accra, Central and Western Region
