We are looking for a Construction Manager in charge of the preparation, installation and monitoring of construction sites. S/he supervises and heads the operations and the teams under his command.S/he guarantees good business practices and worksite safety.

Responsibilities

Our future recruit will have some of the following activities

•   Participates in the definition of resources and equipment required to carry out the work
•   Organizes worksite layout: Determines the worksite layout, ensures optimum communications with operators and supervisors. (HSE contact, project manager, operations manager). Anticipates the worksite's operation requirements and implements the necessary actions together with the project manager.
•   Establishes the worksite monitoring
•   Identifies the anomalies and provides appropriate solutions to HSE issues
•   Ensures that customer requirements are applied on the worksite
•   Checks that the contract documents are delivered and/or updated.
•   Prepares and checks the final implementation file
•   Draws up and circulates the operating procedures
•   Organises worksite withdrawal
•   Collects and completes end of worksite data for his work
•   Supervises and organises the activities of his/her team

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Certificate in Management of industrial production
•   10 years of experience in Project Management or Supervision
•   10 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry
•   English and French speaking
•   Good working knowledge with the Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•   Good working knowledge with the software MS Project would be a plus
