Purpose Of Role:     

To lead in the delivery of the cost and margin assurance KPIs in the following areas: Roaming Assurance, Interconnect Assurance, Content Assurance, Commissions Assurance, Blackberry and Other Third Parties’ Cost Assurance

Key Accountabilities:     

•   Develop detailed plans for cost and margin assurance activities and monitor and report on all related KPIs
•   Responsible for revenue assurance controls regarding new products and services development, tariff changes, automated test calling and the monitoring and reporting of all related KPIs
•   Assess operational processes and related results to understand the impact on business targets relative to revenues, costs and margins, and implement processes and policies to minimize cost and maximize margins
•   Lead cross-functional teams to resolve cost, margin and product assurance issues and implement relevant controls to support the achievement of business targets
•   Prepare monthly reports on revenue/cost impacts for the local management team as well as the Global Revenue Assurance management team

Qualification Required & Experience 

•   First degree in Computer Science, Business or Finance
•   Revenue Assurance, Finance, Auditing or related assurance work experience - Must have 7 years’ relevant experience and preferably 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role
•   Very good understanding of telecom roaming and interconnect business as well as third party cost assurance
•   Knowledgeable in telecoms product development processes from product conceptualization to commercial launch
•   Experience in the use of data analytic tools and/or revenue assurance tools e.g. Excel, Access and SQL
•   Certified Information Systems Auditor (desirable but not essential)
•   ACCA (desirable but not essential)
