Job Vacancy For Credit Control Manager (Tema)



Job Purpose:  

•   To develop, implement and maintain an effective and professional credit control system for the company

Duties and Responsibilities

•   Review the company credit control procedure and develop and implement enhancements where required.
•   Handle major accounts, visits customers and travel to business meetings and sales branches
•   To manage outstanding sales balances falling due and contact customers before the balances become overdue to confirm payments.
•   Set and monitor credit limits.
•   Where required initiate proceedings to ensure outstanding debts are bought to a satisfactory conclusion.
•   To keep the company up to date with new credit management procedures and techniques.
•   Proactively collect debt to minimise overdue balances and maximise cash collections
•   Stops supply of goods or services to overdue accounts
•   Respond to issues quickly in a timely and professional manner
•   Closely monitor those accounts that pose a credit risk and ensure that issues are highlighted

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Computer literate with knowledge of using accounting software
•   Ability to communicate confidently and persuasively
•   Ability to provide solutions
•   Assertiveness
•   Ability to challenge convention
