For growth reasons VisionFund Ghana, an International Microfinance Institution in Ghana is looking for competent persons to fill the following position (Quick placements)

Purpose of the position:

Serve as a support to the credit operations of the institution by ensuring that credit decisions are based on accurate information and the institution's portfolio in kept in good condition through the adoption of good credit policies on loan disbursements and collection.

Major Responsibilities

•   Planning and monitoring of branch credit operations
•   Collect daily information on repayment collections, collate report on non payments and action to be taken
•   Ensure that all defaulting clients are immediately followed and all laid down procedures on  repayment collections are strictly adhered to by all credit officers and branch teams to ensure 100% collection of all loans
•   Ensure that all branches reconcile their data on the system with field and accurate records are kept on loan files in the branches

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A good first degree with practical experience in Financial Services delivery (Banking and Finance, Management, Statistics, etc from a Bank, Rural Bank, Savings & Loans, MFIs)
•   A professional qualification in a finance related field will be an added advantage
•   Persons with at least Part ICA Part II and above, or CIA Part II, CISA, CIMA, ACCA part qualifications can also apply for this position

Required

•   Ability to work to aggressive and critical time-lines
•   Excellent customers focus and inter personal relations skills
•   Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
•   A proven track record of portfolio and delinquency management is a must
•   Must be computer literate (Microsoft suit-especially word, excel and PPT)
•   Must have at least 3 years working experience in a managerial capacity - at least with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience a supervisory or managerial position, i.e leading teams to achieve results
•   Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team
•   Must be a committed and active Christian.
•   Age not more than 40 years
