Job Title: Credit Officers

Job Description

• Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process
• Analyze applicants financial status, credit and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information
• Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy
• Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products in order to better meets needs
• Set credit policies, credit lines, procedures and standards in conjunction with senior managers
• Monitor disbursed loan to avoid loan default
• Perform any other duties as may be directed by the credit manager

Qualification Required & Experience

• BSc in banking, finance, economics or other related field
• 3 to 5 years experience in credit administration
• Hands-on experience with lending procedures
• Good financial analytical skills
• Excellent customer service skills

Required Skills

• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• Must possess excellent organisational skills
• Ability to react to stressful situations with professionalism while remaining calm
• Must be tolerant of all personality types of clients, customers, employees, vendors and others
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office application
