Key Responsibilities:

•   The successful candidate in this senior sales position will work to improve the Power Generation Business Unit dealer segment and achieve financial growth.
•   He/she will be responsible and accountable to define the long-term dealer appointment strategic goals (including finding potential dealers and ultimately converting them into dealers), and is expected to build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current power generation market conditions.
•   The Dealer Development Manager will manage, grow and retain existing dealers by presenting new solutions and services to them and ensuring they stay satisfied and positive. The primary role-of the Dealer Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling and advertising. He/she will be expected to call on clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict clients' future needs.
•   The appointee must develop a rapport with new dealers, set targets for sates and provide support that will continually improve the relationships, as well as attend power generation industry functions, and present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new dealer services, products and distribution channels.
•   Strategic planning is a key part of the job, and this requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and the company competitors.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Relevant Bachelor's degree. An MBA would be an added advantage
•   3-5 years' sates or marketing experience
•   Networking skills
•   Persuasive skills
•   Prospecting skills
•   Public speaking skills
•   Research and writing skills
•   Motivation for sates
•   Knowledge of sales planning
•   Ability to identify customer needs and challenges
