A reputable research based advocacy private business sector association requires qualified persons to fill the following positions:- Director, Analysis, Research and Finance

Key Responsibilities - Will be the lead officer responsible for:

•   The development of corporate policies through research, collation and compilation of industry statistics, information relevant and critical to the industry
•   Provide insights into relevant government policy statements as well as policies of various ministries, departments and agencies through research and analysis to the Executive Committee and the entire membership to aid decision-making
•    Prepare in a timely and accurate manner, the accounts of the organisation on comparative and cumulative basis for submission to the Finance and Budget Committee, the Executive Committee, Council an the Auditors
•   The development of financial procedures and the administration necessary to support the financial operation of the organisation
•   To proactively analyse government policies and statements that are of concern or have a potential impact on the sector and to communicate implications to the members of the organisation.

Qualification Required & Experience

The candidate must have qualification in either fo the following fields:

•   B.S.c Engineering - Mechanical, Chemical or Mining
•   ACCA / CA Ghana
•   M.S.c Economics or MBA (Finance or International Business)

Experience

•   Must be technically competent with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience
•   Experience in the extractive industry as well as working or dealing with international organisations and policy makers will be an advantage
•   Effective implementation of research projects
•   Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into realistic action plans
