Job Vacancy For Director of Operations



MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in corporate strategic planning and implement strategic goals and objectives.
• Review operational, and financial performance reports on branches as well as the IT systems of the Company and advice on ways of improvement.
• Devise strategies in collaboration with Managing Director to ensure product mix are profitable and delivered on competitive service delivery agreements and timelines.
• Build strong working relationship and institute measures to detect early signs of danger within any function of the Company.
• Establish a comprehensive plan to address and completely resolve signals with potential of impacting negatively on performance of the Company.
• Liaise with Audit Department to ensure periodic audits are conducted on all Branches and IT systems and follow up to ensure recommendations are implemented.
• Responsible for establishing, implementing and supervising operational controls.
• Develop performance matrix to monitor and evaluate operational efficiency.
• Review and update prescribed set of guidelines (policies and procedures) to govern business operations in liaison with Department Heads.
• Present reports on operational activities of all branches and IT to the Executive Committee of the Company.
• Responsible for generating new product development ideas and management of product development life cycle.
• Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and penetration into new markets.
• Oversight responsibility for corporate communication functions of the Company
• Liaise with Department Heads on the determination and achievement of strategic objectives for their Departments.
• Plan feasibility survey, form project teams and prepare report with relevant recommendations prior to setting up of new branches. Also supervise all branch set –up activities.
• Supervise all IT systems to ensure up-to-date relevant technological support for the Company’s operations.
• Any other duties assigned by the Managing Director or his representative.

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of a 2nd Degree in a business related field
• Professional Certification from a recognized professional body.
• GSE certification
• 8 to 10 years relevant work experience, 4 years of which should be in a senior managerial position with a reputable organization.
