METSS is a United States Agency tor International Development (USAID) project created to provide technical support for programme monitoring and evaluation, research, policy analysis and capacity building for its agriculture and energy programmes. The current project is administered through the University of Cape Coast, Kansas State University and the US Department of Agriculture (USAID)

Responsibilities:

•   To drive the vehicle safely and responsibly
•   To understand the mechanics of vehicles and vehicle maintenance and repair
•   To work long hours, including early mornings and weekends, sometimes at short notice
•   Ability to learn vehicles policies, procedures and documentation and adhere to them
•   To adhere to excellent communication skills and be a team player
•   Provide country information and other general assistance to official visitors

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Secondary Education Certificate
•   Minimum of 3 years of experience working with a local or international NGO, UN or Government of Ghana department
•   Valid and clean drivers' license, with no records of accidents in the past 12 months
•   Excellent ability in correctly listen to instructions,carry them out with minimal effort, and report back when completed
•   Spoken and written fluency in English expected, local languages of Northern Ghana desirable
•   Knowledge of the ten regions of Ghana
•   Demonstrated reliability, honesty, commitment, ability to work hard, and eager to serve on a team

Location: Accra with frequent travel to the field
