Job Vacancy For Earthworks Foreman
A leading civil and Mining construction company operating in Ghana invites interested and qualified applicants to apply for various positions as advertised below: Earthworks Foreman
Primary Responsibilities
• Accountable for following project plans and schedules and
• Ensure the construction team's daily and weekly activities meet production goals
• Coordinate resources - plant, people, materials, equipment
• Accountable for ensuring that the completed work meets standards and for recommending work processes that will improve productivity and product quality
• Accountable for the preparation of reports the supervisor/foreman
• Ensure the construction team are fit for work each day
• Must understand the legal liability of the role
• Ensure that all tasks are performed as per the industry standards and in accordance with regulations laid down by the law
• Perform other tasks, as instructed by the project head and construction site leaders
Qualification Required & Experience
• Must have a proven experience as construction junior foreman for minimum of 3 years
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
• Ability to communicate and report effectively
• Must have a minimum education of high school certificate
• Good physical condition and stamina
Requirements
• Need to have relevant training in safety requirements as HIRA, JSA & Legal Liability
• Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings
• Must have people skills to work and control employees in a safe working environment
• Must be able to understand and follow instruction on stringent work schedules
• Must be able to work safely and ensure the safety of this team
