•   To nurture and educate students through effective teaching and learning in the social sciences, particularly Economics and Geography

Job Description

•   Prepare and deliver lessons in accordance with the approved syllabi
•   Select or prepare and use a range of different learning resources and equipment
•   Providing lesson plan for all lessons
•   Assisting students who fall behind
•   Attend all school functions regularly and punctually
•   Prepare students for internal and external examinations
•   Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of students progress and development
•   Manage students behaviour in and outside the classroom to ensure discipline in the school
•   Engage in co-curricular activities
•   Accept any other task that his supervisor would give him
•   Performing any other duties that may be determined by the Headmaster or Head of school from time to time
•   Comply with agreed school policies and guidelines, which aim to promote pupil/student education

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor of education in social sciences (economics and geography)
•   Not less than 6 years relevant post-qualification experience in teaching (specifically in Senior High School)
