A leading Multi-National Company based in Tema has vacancy for the following position and is seeking to recruit qualified, competent and interested candidates to fill the position:- Electrical Technician II (Plant)

Position Summary

Under the general guidance of the Facility Engineer, this position provides for the continous operation and maintenance of M/V and L/V systems on the terminal including power stations and substations

Competency Requirements

•   Electrical Engineering Technician III (Preferred with Gen-sets and MV) with 2 to 4 years functional experience
•   Good technical knowledge in the maintenance an repair of all electrical equipment in general
•   Familiar with instrumentation and special tools
•   Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, layout, and specifications, is an added advantage
•   Requires good verbal and written communications skills in English, computer & software skills

Major accountabilities among others

•   Servicinf, trouble shooting and repair of the Power Generating plants
•   Servicing of all 33/11kv transformers and 11kv ring main unit
•   Applying regular checks and services and attending to emergency breakfown of power plants and substations
•   Responsible for the maintenance, good housekeeping and order.
•   Actively promote safety awareness at all times and ensure a safe workplace policy.
