Job Summary

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this individual will be responsible for effective maintenance of the Plant and other equipment within the organization. He/She will

•   Develop and/or document policies, procedures, plans and strategies for plant maintenance that will ensure excellent plant availability.
•   Supervise and ensure effective execution of all maintenance activities
•   Plan all preventive maintenance programs and ensure implementation of same.
•   Assist in the ordering of spares including preparation of specifications and other requirements.
•   Determine and document maintenance costs for the various maintenance activities  so as to assist with monitoring and budget planning

Qualification Required & Experience

The preferred candidate will have

•   A University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of five years post graduation experience, preferably in maintenance activities in a treatment or processing plant.
•   Supervisory experience will be an asset
