Job Summary

•   Responsible for defining the strategic and operational framework of the fund, in consultation with the board of directors, and in line with terms of reference.
•   Accountable to the board of directors for performing due diligence on all potential investment beneficiaries, forming an opinion for discussion and approval, developing the legal framework and support systems, structuring disbursement, monitoring, and ensuring optimal success of all projects.
•   The overall objective of the role is to create opportunity for high potential small and medium enterprises to access the fund for growth and long term profitability.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   At least five (5) years experience in a similar position at the executive management level.
•   A minimum of University degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or related field.
•   A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
•   Organizational skills, communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
•   Leadership abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills
•   Computer applications - MS word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project
•   Professional and ethical when dealing with confidential information.
•   Committed, responsible and able to work under pressure and limited time frames.
•   Good planning and organizing skills.
