Applications are being invited from eligible candidates for the following position in a reputable public service institution: Executive Assistant/Public Affairs Manager
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative and managerial functions, conserves executive's time by reading, researching and routing correspondence, drafting letters and documents, collecting and analysing information and initiating telecommunications and travel
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential, completes projects by assigning work to clerical staff, following up on results
• Work with the CEO to achieve organizational goals and objectives by administering the communications and public relations initiatives as determined by the larger organizational strategic planning process
• Develop effective communications plan that leverages the organizations brand promise
Qualification Required & Experience
• A Bachelors Degree in business/public relations, journalism or communications with 6 years working experience in public relations or journalism
