The Embassy of Switzerland in Accra is looking for a Logistics Officer / Caretaker and Assistant to the Head of Administration. Focus will be on logistics, organizing, checking and supervising, as well as executing minor repair and maintenance work

Job Description
• Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Embassy's facilities
• Facilities maintenance comprises all preventatives, remedial and upgrade works required for the upkeep and improvement of facilities & their components.
• Due to the urgency of the responses required in many of the activities involved, he/she will often need to make daily reports or have an escalation procedure
• Maintain and manage office equipment as required
Administrative functions:
• Control of construction expenses in excel
• Aid in archiving
• Assisting in web publishing
• Assisting staff documentation processes with Ghanaian authorities such as customs exemptions etc
Qualification Required & Experience
• Degree from a Technical University or Higher National Diploma (HND)
• Handyman and technical skills
• Experience in a similar position is an advantage
• Excellent organisation and social skills
• Excellent knowledge of ITs and MS Office
• Excellent English language skills
• Valid driving license if possible
Required Competencies
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time while keeping an overview of all his/her duties
• Team-player, discretion, reliability, honesty
