Panfida Farms Limited (PFL) is wholly owned Ghanaian Company registered under the laws of Ghana as a Limited Liability Company. PFL exist to produce and supply protein needs for the local and international market. Our products include Poultry, Piggery, Rabbits and other livestock. We are located at Gomoa Akramang, 15 minutes drive from Kasoa in the Central Region.
Job Summary
• Coordinate, supervise, manage and undertake farming operations to raise poultry and other livestock.
• Ensure proper animal welfare, good housing requirements, good feeding and good environmental practice all the time
• Ensure proper book keeping at all times
• Advise management on technical and practical farming methods and profitability ventures.
• Analyze operational costs for the supply of agro inputs, feed and equipment for all units of production
• Adopt appropriate integrated pest management program in controlling pest and diseases
• Monitor animal health and seek veterinary advice when necessary
• Recruit, train and supervise farm hands (workers) at the various production units
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly farm report to management
Qualification Required & Experience
• HND / BSc. in Agriculture or related courses
• Certificate from college of Agric will be an advantage
• Six (6) years working experience with a minimum of 3 years as a farm manager
• Should be very analytical and possess excellent organizational skills
• Should be very assertive and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of modern farming methods
• Should have good business management skills
• Should have computer literacy in MS Office
