Job Purpose:
• Interface between Operations, Engineering, Project and Contractor personnel to get an agreed way forward on all Brownfield project modifications to the Jubilee Asset.
• Implement safety standards and requirements in accordance with Company Safety Management system for all such Brownfield works.
• Implement all required OR&A requirements. In the absence of a Project manager, supervise and direct all such Brownfield works.
Responsibilities / Key Objectives:
• Interface between Operations, Project and Contractor personnel to help drive in-field Project delivery. From concept, through engineering and design into commissioning and operations.
• Plan, develop and coordinate regular Operations and Project interfaces and ensure bridging documents exist between all relevant project work sites related to the Jubilee Asset
• Liaise with all project and contractor EHS experts onshore and offshore and ensure a ‘good fit’ with the operations EHS people, standards and processes.
• Ensure that all OR&A requirements are fully met and that sufficient resources are in place to achieve this.
• Liaise with Operations Manager/ FPSO Managers / Project and Contractor Managers with regard to brownfield project works.
• Liaise with Operations and Contractor engineering staff to ensure correct technical outcomes and ensure that the appropriate project learnings are made available to the Jubilee Asset.
• Be the Jubilee Asset focal point for all operations and maintenance input into Phase 1A, Full Field Development (FFD), Gas export system (including TEN tie-in) and all other in-field project work.
• Report all inconsistencies to the Operations and Project Managers.
• Demonstrate commitment to the Company’s safety and operational policies through leadership and guidance.
• In coordination with the Projects & Engineering Manager analyze field systems` requirements and client specifications to establish improved functionality and systems` performance
• Review and verify technical documentations to ensure that all interfaces are defined and aligned.
• Develop an interface matrix to ensure that all technical scopes are defined and assured.
Qualification Required & Experience
• A graduate professional in an engineering discipline or equivalent, with experience in either maintenance or field engineering, preferably in an offshore environment
• Chartered or Professional Engineer or equivalent (Mechanical /Process/Chemical)
• Extensive industry experience may be used to offset qualifications
Experience:
• Experience in offshore/onshore oil and gas operations specifically acting as an Operations Team Leader/ OIM/Manager. FPSO experience preferred.
• Familiar with Operational Readiness and Assurance (OR&A)process (pre-operations process) for Brownfield/Project work.
• Ability to influence and direct constructive progress (project/ops/contractor interfacing) and present to management.
Skills:
• Broad experience in a suitable arena ideally including oil & gas Production Operations and Project Execution.
• Experience of FPSOs and brownfield modifications preferred.
• Knowledge of the full range of process systems of all disciplines and equipment used in the offshore hydrocarbon industry.
• Working knowledge of all relevant engineering document and drawing types, and ‘engineering office’ document control practices.
• Familiar with relevant local and international engineering codes, standards and practices.
• Proficient use of ‘standard’ office tools – word processors, spreadsheets, time management etc
• Ability to communicate clearly on technical engineering matters.
• Competent in the use of computers and familiar with word processing and spreadsheet program software usage.
• Ability to travel internationally to onshore and offshore sites as required.
