The organisation, an innovative and leading organisation in the field of Weather & Impact solutions, located in Accra and active in the entire country as well as in the West Africa Region is looking to recruit multiple outstanding and dynamic full and part-time professionals to play the role of Field Trainer within the existing set up. The applicants are to carry out seasonal training of trainers of partner organisations as well as farmers and are to handle his/her responsibilities in accordance with the direction and policies established by the Management. Outside the training season (February to May), he/she shall play M&E and communicative roles.

Key Responsibilities

•   Plan, develop and execute the organisation's pre set training programmes, policies and objectives
•   Outside the training season, conduct evaluations of the field actions and impacts
•   Operate in an effective and dedicated cross-cultural work team in both a leading as well as a team-playing role
•   Plan, budget, mobilise, apply and manage resources efficiently to maximize the positive impact of your field operations
•   Outside the training season, conduct surveys on progress and play a communicative role between selected groups

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A minimum of a Bachelor's in Training & Communication or related disciplines from a recognized institution in similar fields
•   A minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar training position

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

•   Exceptional communication skills and should be able to train and teach in a clear, concise manner.He/She should be patient and also should have the ability to motivate the trainees to achieve high levels of performance. He/She should be able to answer and solve each and every query of the trainee. He/She should be empathetic towards the trainee's needs as well as respect his/her views
•   He/She should be able to develop innovative ideas to meet the changing training needs
•   Needs to be fluent in both English and French, both oral and written skills
•   The capacity to work simultaneously on multiple operational tasks, supervise staff to achieve set targets and obtain successful overall results
•   A highly versatile and sufficiently discerning personality to be effective across diverse regions and cultures, including the ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-specialist audiences
•   Deep knowledge of commitment to and interest in the development of the agricultural industry in Ghana
