Job Vacancy For Finance Manager At Chemonics International



Chemonics International Inc. seeks four technical and administrative specialists for the recently awarded five-year, USAID-funded Ghana Feed the Future Agriculture Policy Support (Ghana FtF-APS) Project. The Ghana FtF-APS project aims to increase the capacity of the government of Ghana, the private sector, and civil society organisations in evidence-based policy formation, implementation, research and advocacy and in rigorous monitoring and evaluation of  agricultural programmes under the Medium Term Agriculture Sector Investment Plan. The Personnel will support the effective and efficient long-term management and implementation of the Ghana FtF-APS project by filling the following position:- Finance Manager

Job Summary

The Finance Manager will implement financial management and accountability requirements of the project according to USAID and Chemonics procedures and regulations.

Specific responsibilities will include

•   Lead in the development and implementation of sound financial management systems
•   Monthly and annual financial reporting to the project management unit and other project stakeholders
•   Develop, implement, and maintain adequate internal controls
•   Ensure complete documentation, filing and retrieval systems
•   Liaise with statutory reporting authorities to comply with statutory payment and reporting requirements

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting and Finance
•   Professional accounting qualification, ACCA, CA or CPA
•   Not less than 4 years of professional experience, preferably for USAID-funded programmes in Ghana
•   Demonstrated knowledge of USAID financial and management systems, regulations and reporting requirements
