A reputable manufacturing company requires for immediate appointment a suitable candidate as FINANCE MANAGER

The suitable candidate shall report to the Chief Executive Officer.

Job Requirements

•   He shall establish and maintain the financial systems and procedures of all departments and update the assets register of the Company.
•   Ensure that the accounting systems and procedures aid the provision of appropriate management information at a minimum cost, and shall assist in advising on financial matters relating to financial planning and procedures.
•   Manage the funds of the Company and keep solvent by providing sufficient sources of finance to meet all likely contingencies.
•   Undertake periodic review of financial policies in relation to the overall corporate plans and priorities to ensure optimum harnessing of resources of the Company.
•   Provide financial information to aid management in decision making particularly in Budgeting and Budgetary Control, Costing and Pricing, Analysis and Interpretation of financial statements and Debtors/Creditors age analysis.
•   Ensure that requirements of the Company are consolidated into an integrated master plan and appropriate monitoring and evaluation techniques and models are developed to assist in the determination of overall performance.
•   Assure management information system requirements and ensure the design of appropriate systems and procedures for inter and intra-sectoral operational collaboration and cooperation to support the activities of the Company.
•   Establish and maintain the financial systems and procedures and prepare financial statements reports for the Board of Directors, Management and Tax Authorities (GRA)
•   Ensure that systems and procedures are established and maintained to guide in the, planning, monitoring and evaluation efforts of the company for the purpose of assessing the impact of the policies of the company.
•   Ensure the effective coordination and analysis of plans initiated by the Company to produce an integrated master plan consistent with approved corporate objectives and policies.
•   Assess the impact of the national Budget of Government on the operations of the Company and submit Proposals for the consideration of the Chief Executive Officer.

Other Qualities
Knowledge of Sun System Accounting Software, Inventory, Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Recognized Professional qualification such as ICA, ACCA or CIMA. A Postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.

Experience

•   A minimum working experience of ten (10) years as Finance Manager.
