Abosso Goldfields Limited, a subsidiary of Gold Fields Limited is a World-class operation, consistion of 25 Mtpa open pit-mining operations and a 5.2 Mtpa CIL metallurgical plant. The mine can be located in the tropical climate of the Western Region of Ghana. It is ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certificated and has a current Life of Mine expectancy to year 2019 and beyond.

Purpose Of The Job:-
Abosso goldfields Limited in seeking to employ a self-motivated and experienced individual who will use his/her expertise to ensure that provided management information systems, processes, policies and resources are managed and maintained to meet the short and long term demands of the company in order for it to remain competitive.
Key Responsibilities:-
. Ensure the proper maintenance of data integrity as well as analyze and report on trends and deviation to best practices.
. Initiate cost saving practices and productivity improvement initiatives through trends and best practice principles
. Ensure the achievement of qualitative and quantitative outputs through the efficient utilization of management information system.
. Ensure a timeous availability of resources to enable direct task execution
. Ensure that the effects of cost and budget deviations are managed
. Ensure that staff are effectively trained, developed and supervised.
. Maintain a culture of continuous improvement in the section.
. Apply knowledge and experience to propose solutions to production problems on daily basis
. Ensure that health and safety within the domain is maintained.
Key Requirements
. A relevant tertiary qualification from a recognized tertiary institution
. At least five years experience as FMS Mining Management systems engineer at the right level
. Competency in Microsoft Office suite and systems Application products
. Well developed oral and written communication skills in English.
. A hands-on-approach and a willingness to work long hours to obtain the required results
. A valid Ghanaian driver's license
. Medical fitness for the position and environment
