URC is recruiting for the following staff for the Finance and Administration team of the USAID-funded Ghana Systems for Health Project.

Job Title: FLEET MANAGEMENT/TRANSPORT OFFICER

Job Summary: The Fleet Manager/Transport Officer will work under the direction of the Director of Finance and Administration to manage a pool of project vehicles, ensuring efficient use of resources and coordinating field travel to hospitals across the country. Key responsibilities include:

•   Develop weekly/monthly field travel schedules, coordinating between program staff and drivers to allocate use of vehicles
•   Under the guidance of the Director of Finance and Administration, manage the pool of vehicles including their maintenance
•   Ensure vehicles have valid insurance; drivers have valid permits; insurance claims are processed in a timely; maintenance and servicing are achieved in a timely manner
•   Monitor vehicle log books weekly
•   Keep track of fuel card use for each vehicle and reconcile bills and vehicle records monthly

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor’s in Logistics Management or a related field
•   Minimum of 2 years of fleet management experience, preferably with USAID-funded programs
•   Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
•   Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
•   Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
