Our company is seeking suitably qualified candidates to fulfill the following roles: Flight Dispatcher / Flight Operations Assistant

Responsibilities

• Furnish the PIC while in flight, by appropriate means, with information which may be necessary for the safe conduct of the flight
• Analysing operational conditions and identify any opportunities that may constrain impede or benefit operational capabilities inclusive of, but not limited to weather, facilities, Air Traffic Control and aircraft performance
• Providing Weight and Balance with a flight release, which includes total fuel requirements and aircraft weight limitations that maximizes revenue payload potential while satisfying all safety standards
• Initiating accident alarm procedures, and assessing and issuing flight incident category reports, as required, inclusive of the corporate notification process and maintaining a written log during the incident

Qualification Required & Experience

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Higher secondary school, preferably a University graduate
• Must have completed a Flight Dispatcher course
• Possess Flight Dispatcher License or equivalent
• Be English proficient
• Minimum of 2 years as a flight Dispatcher in the industry or 3 years as an FOO/FOA

Must have at least 2 years of service in any one or combination of the following:

• Flight crew member in air transport operations
• Meteorologist in an organisation dispatching aircraft
• Air Traffic Controller
• Technical supervisor of FOO personnel
• Technical supervisor of air transportation system
