Organizational Context:
Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Country Representative and direct supervision of the International Operations Manager, the Admin Associate (HR) provides functional leadership in human resources and associated policies, systems and processes in the Country Office. He/she also supervises the drivers.
The Admin Associate (HR) delivers quality services in HR to internal and external clients; mastering all relevant rules, guidelines, processes, and procedures. He/she takes a client-oriented, results-focused approach to interpreting the rules, procedures and guidelines in service of the country programme; providing support and guidance to the UNFPA, Ghana Country Office and UNFPA supported programmes.

Job Requirements:
Academic Requirements:
• University degree in human resources, commerce, business administration or related field
• Advanced university degree in business administration, human resources or related field would be an advantage
Experience:
• At least 6 years progressively responsible experience in human resources in a multi-cultural environment
Languages:
• Fluency in oral and written English
Computer Skills:
• Proficiency in current office software applications
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft, and other computerized applications used by the UN
