We are looking for a results-oriented individual who thinks outside the box to contribute towards growth and profitability by development and implementation of marketing communication plans to maximize media sales revenue within the framework of the annual budget and overall business development strategy of the company.

Key Accountabilities

•  Develop and implement media sales strategy including visits to potential and existing customers and canvass for advertisement placements in all of the newspapers
•  Develop business relationship with potential customers with the object of translating the relationship into media purchase
•  Undertake sales promotion with key customers and for newspapers with the object of building brand preferences, loyalty and circulation volumes
•  Develop strategies to minimize customer complaint on print quality to their advertisement to retain and increase the customer base.
•  Monitor electronic, print and outdoor media
•  Analyze the business environment and make recommendations on the development of new products and/or enhancing existing products to grow the company's revenue base.

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Social Science or Communication from a reputable tertiary institution
•  6 years post qualification relevant experience gained from working in a dynamic working environment
•  Working knowledge of the print media industry would be a distinct advantage
