Job Role

• Design and model maintain and Support the Enterprise Architecture Strategy (for Systems/Solutions, Integration, Security, Technology, Digital).
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and OpenShift platforms.
• Act as a key stakeholder in infrastructure roadmap planning and execution
• Lead cloud migration projects and facilitate the transition of existing on-premises systems to the cloud while minimizing disruption to business operations
• Monitor cloud systems’ performance and ensure solutions are optimized for speed, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
• Drive the design, architecture cycles and aspects of the delivery of key business or enterprise-wide and group solutions.
• Drive and facilitate the development of the current and to be architecture models covering all the EA domains.
• Enable and utilize the EA tooling across the enterprise and the visibility of all EA artifacts.
• Lead to define enterprise architecture principles, standards and guidelines, and blueprints.
• Analyse legacy business processes to derive the required business functions and rules from existing applications in achieving a two-speed architecture environment for the new business architectures – focusing particularly on digital architectures.
• Develop systems/solutions, integration, technology, security architectures covering the enterprise or for specific line of service delivery, program areas or business functions.
• Maintain overall EA domains (Systems/Solutions, Integration, Security, Technology) synchronized with the IS Vision, road map and Business Plan.
• Design the enterprise application integration model by ensuring the implementation and improvement of a standard middleware (SOA), as well as all MicroServices, APIs. And ensure they are optimized and ready to take on more services and can handle service orchestration with high volumes of TPS.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain reference architectures for various capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into systems/solutions architectures bearing systems qualities and repeatable design strategies and patterns, such as adaptability, scalability, availability, and reusability. Enable the use of all the EA toolsets for the design and documentation of all EA artifacts.
• Drive Master Data Management Practices and ensure our environment is MDM focused.
• Liaise with the Specialist, BPM to ensure integration, synchronization and alignment to the final architectural output to all design requirements for all EA domains and standards.
• Facilitate design reviews across the enterprise and collect enterprise architecture performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
• Setup all Integrated Design Review (IDR), Internal Architecture Review (IAR) and Architecture Review Board (ARB) sessions and ensure EA artifacts are designed to support the discussions; document and review all decision outputs as well as the tracking of the IDR, IAR, ARB actions until completion.
• Ensure all EA artifacts are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect the current state and planned end state.

Qualification Required & Experience

Education

• Minimum of a BSc. Computer Science / Engineering or its equivalent
• Certification in TOGAF, eTOM, COBIT, Agile, GRCP, ITIL, PMP/Prince 2 Project Management is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience in same or similar role in Telecoms environment
• At least 2 years of progressive experience in IT architecture
• Experience with enterprise architecture design, SDLC, Solution Design, Information Management & Data Analytics
• Experience in designing and implementing medium to long term strategic framework models such as TOGAF, eTOM, COBIT, ITIL, TMForum
• Experience with VMware, SAN, Windows, and Citrix.
• Understanding of cloud architecture, containerization, and platform services, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance
• Solid understanding of network protocols, security configurations, and cloud governance policies
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring of containers
