Silver Star Auto, general distributors and authorized sales and service representative of Mercedes-Benz is seeking applications from self-motivated and hardworking professionals to fill the following vacant position:- Assistant Human Resource Manager

Job Title: Assistant Human Resource Manager

Purpose: Effectively assist the Human Resource Manager to deliver the highest standard or HR interventions

Duties and Responsibilities

•   Assist in the recruitment and selection process
•   Organize induction programs and coordinate training activities
•   Collect time and attendance records for payroll purposes
•   Manage employees absenteeism
•   Leave administration, ensure that employees take their leave and manage it appropriately
•   Assist in the formulation and review of HR policies and procedures
•   Periodically inspect facilities and advise necessary maintenance to be carried out
•   Supervision of the security staff, drivers and the management of fleet vehicles

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A good first degree in Human Resource Management or Social Sciences

Experience and Competencies

•   Minimum of 3 - 5 years post - qualification experience in HR Management
•   An in-depth knowledge of HR processes and procedures and proven track records of providing support to Human Resource Manager
•   Hands on experience and knowledge of the labour law and industrial relations practice
•   Strong team player and leadership qualities that lend credence to the best HR practice
•   Computer literate
•   Excellent interpersonal, networking and negotiations skills
•   Ability to manage labour management relations and the collective Bargaining process
