Job Vacancy For Assistant Registrar (Printing) At West Africa Examinations Council



The West Africa Examinations Council, a sub-regional organization responsible for the conduct of a variety of examinations in Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, of the five countries  the English-speaking West African countries.

Description Of Job

The West African Examinations Council invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the above vacant position at its Ghana National Office.

As a Printing Officer, the applicant must have sound knowledge in print production schedules and specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will perform the following duties among others:

•  Inspecting materials, products or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions;
•  Calculating labour and equipment requirement, and production specifications using standard formulas;
•  Assisting in the supervision of production processes, quality assurance and techniques for maximising the effective manufacture and distribution of goods;
•  Planning and establishing work schedule, assignments and production sequence to meet production targets

Qualification Required & Experience

Eligibility Criteria:

•  Applicant must hold a good University degree (at least second class Honours) in Publishing Studies or a related field of study
•  Applicant must not be more than thirty-five (35) years at the time of applying
•  Applicant must have at least three (3) years post-graduation experience
