A large multinational bank seeks to recruit competent individuals for the following position in Accra and Kumasi:- Branch Manager

Position Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for maintaining positive customer relationship, planning and delivering effective marketing strategies and monitoring the progress of new and existing products as well as provide operational management support on a day to day basic.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

•  Prepare annual marketing plans and strategies for liability generation to enable subordinates achieve targeted growth objectives
•  Develop and obtain approval for annual marketing plan and strategies for designated product ranges to enable achievement of profit growth and profit objectives
•  Monitor and control business office income and expenditure to ensure profitability
•  Build relationships with clients and ensure that such relationship are sustained through efficient and reliable delivery of total banking services and support for their businesses
•  Create risk assets and manage risks to ensure quality loan portfolio
•  Manage all employees in the branch

Competencies Required

Education And Work Experience

•  Minimum of 1 st degree 2nd class division
•  Minimum of 5 years experience in relationship management

Technical

•  Balance sheet management
•  Ability to complete favourable negotiations
•  Strong analytical skills, especially in credit analysis and understanding of financial statements
•  Demonstrate understanding of Trade related business

Managerial

•  Ability to plan, coordinate and follow up to monitor people and work activities
•  Ability to design and implement control systems
•  Ability to coach and or mentor subbordinates
•  Presentation skills

Personality

•  Ability to relate with people of all levels
•  Good verbal and written communication
•  High level of integrity
•  Assertiveness - ability to articulate views and follow through issues
