Job Summary

•   Manages, develops and maintains business relationships with existing and potential national and international clients to meet sales objectives.
•   Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow the organisation's business while maximising profits and market share that will create the highest satisfaction in the oil and gas industry.
•   Acts as primary point-of-contact for client
•   Leads day to day management and optimisation of client campaigns
•   Maintains contact with established customer base
•   Identifies and establishes new clients
•   Communicates and strategises with the sales team on all related issues for both internal & external sales
•   Assists in strategy development
•   Proactively finds new ways to build the client's business and grow accounts
•   Masters and maintains vast knowledge of client's business, competition, and latest industry news and trends
•   Monitors agency/client budgets and billing process for accuracy and timeliness
•   Improves customer perception with emphasis on customer service
•   Perform other work related task as assigned
•   Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies

Qualification Required & Experience

Competencies Required:

•   Extensive experience of offshore and onshore drilling operations, activities, equipment and use of same.
•   Extensive travel required mainly within Africa.
•   Understanding of Fluid Control products and services and how they can be best utilised.

Competent in the following:

•   Motivation skills.
•   Negotiation skills.
•   Presentation skills.
•   Report writing.
•   Compilation and concise, accurate technical and commercial proposals.
•   Excellent communication skills.
•   Regular financial reporting.
•   Preparation of annual budget plans and updates.
•   10 years experience in oil & gas or related industry
