Job Vacancy For Business Development Officer At CSR Developments (Akosombo)



Purpose of Position:
To provide support to Senior management on ways of developing new business ideas aimed at targeting new clients, marketing excellent wood species that are relatively unknown and implement general business strategy on other revenue generating streams for the company.

Brief Description of Responsibilities:

• Provide reliable support in marketing new and lesser known products to clients
• Support Sales Team in formulating strategies and action plans to attract new business while maintaining existing ones
• Initiate projects from start to completion
• Be able to anticipate needs of clients and exceed their expectations regularly
• Package samples and literature on samples for prospective clients in a very professional way
• Maintain an appropriate database with accurate data that can track and produce statistics
• Be able to advise management on policies and suggest new ideas aimed at continuous improvement

Qualification Required & Experience

Technical Skills/Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Business with 3 years experience OR Higher National Diploma in Business with 4 years experience
• Excellent MS Office skills with emphasis on MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
• Excellent skills in branding and packaging
• Persuasive communication skills
• Good photography skills is an added advantage
• Assertive and can handle independent work
• Ability to speak and write good English
• Knowledge of the timber industry will be an added advantage
