Job Summary

•  Educates and informs clients and potential clients about our products
•  Acquires new deposit and loan clients for the institution
•  Develops and maintains an acceptable level of  deposit portfolio
•  Manages a portfolio of deposit clients through constant contacts and interactions
•  Underwrites loan applications and proposes same for approval
•  Participates in credit committees responsible for loan approvals
•  Manages a portfolio of loan clients through monitoring
•  Takes proactive steps to recover loan arrears and manage delinquencies
•  Participates in arrears committees responsible for delinquency management

Qualification Required & Experience

Education and Experience Requirements

•  Minimum of HND in Accounting, Management, Statistics and related fields
•  Prior experience in micro lending and/or customer relationship management will be  a plus but not a prerequisite

Special / Personal Abilities

•  Good analytical and decision making skills
•  Ability to work easily with numbers and to make sense of association of numbers
•  Responsible and reliable personality
•  Familiarity with Microsoft applications especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel
•  Excellent communication and marketing skills
•  Ability to speak English fluently and fluency in at least one or more of the most popular local languages in the branch’s catchment area
