Casa Trasacco Limited Of The Trasacco Group is a leading home products company based in Accra that sells modern style furniture and accessories and is offering an opportunity to a dynamoc, self-motivated and results-oriented individual to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer.

Job Summary

The Successful candidate shall be responsible for directing and overseeing all financial and fiscal management aspects of the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities

•  To ensure that all records are kept and maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards in Ghana.
•  To ensure compliance with tax and other laws and regolations of Ghana.
•  To develop and implement finance, accounting and auditing procedures
•  To establish and maintain appropriate internal control procedures
•  To oversee the approval and processing of revenue expenditure, imports, budgets, salary processing, accounts maintenance and data entry.
•  To analyse cash flow, expenses and financial statements
•  To create, co-ordinate and evaluate financial programmes and support information systems of the company.
•  To approve and co-ordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems of the company.
•  To co-ordinate the preparation of financial statements, MIS and other reports.
•  To assist in the processing of licences and other operating permits required for the company.

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from a reputable university
•  Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants or Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana
•  Minimum of 10 years post-qualification work experience in a senior role including a minimum of 5 years overseas experience
•  Up-to-date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications
•  Excellent verbal, analytical, organisational and written skills
•  All the above are prerequistes. Previous experience in the retail furniture industry is desirable but not required.
