A reputable company is expanding its operations across the country and is looking for competent persons to fill the following position:- Chief Information Officer

Job Description

•   The Chief Information Officer will collaborate with senior executives to prioritize technology resources in support of the business functions and priorities and actively participate in strategic, business and operational planning and governance for the company and its subsidiaries
•   The CIO will provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives, lead the IT team's operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, organising and planning projects and negotiating the allocation of resources
•   The CIO will provide management of IT resources, including: data/voice/video LAN and WAN networks and systems, network access, data integrity, security policies and procedures for appropriate use of application and data business continuity, hardware and software upgrades, support for desktop, operating systems and productivity application, technology-related training

Qualification Required & Experience

•   15 years experience in IT industry, minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information systems or related field,
•   Master's degree in a plus, comprehensive knowledge of information systems technology, and ability to stay abreast of new technologies, knowledge and experience with project planning and project management from start to finish, significant experience in negotiating contracts, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and must have experience in managing employees and have the ability to mentor staff and advance culture of service and collaboration

Proficient computer skills will include MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Outlook, MS-Project and data entry
