Reports to: National Director

Job Summary:
To lead in the delivery of the Child Health Now Campaign at the national level, liaise, support and work closely with colleagues involved on the issue of health and community empowerment nationally. ensure the national Child Health Now Campaign is effectively linked to World Vision's Regional and Global campaigns.

Major Responsibilities:

•  Develop and update the national campaign strategy
•  Manage the integration of the Child Health Now Campaign into other areas of Ministry, seeking buy-in from colleagues
•  Coordinate the cost effective implementation of the campaign in partnership with colleagues
•  Coordinate public and government engagement on child health
•  Ensure CHN - related activities at the local, district and national levels are linked to CHN engagement at the regional and global levels
•  Ensure the sustainability of the campaign

Qualification Required & Experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

•  Bachelor's degree, preferably in Social Sciences
•  At least 5 years experience in development/advocacy or human rights
•  Strategic, creative, and innovative thinking
•  Successful track record in project management and in developing and implementing advocacy campaigns
•  Experience of working with government and cross functional teams
•  Experience in coalition building and ability to rally coalitions and networks to take positions on specific policy issues
•  Background on Policies work knowledge/experience, networking and programme management
•  Ability to facilitate the creation of cross functional project teams and the development of national strategies. Understands work from a process point of view and uses measurement and accountability systems effectively. Excellent time-management and prioritisation
