An international hospitality franchise intends to open a First World International Coffee Shop in the heart of Accra in the third quarter of 2013. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of Coffee Shop Manager

The Position
Reporting to the General Manager, the Coffee Shop Manager shall be responsible for the day-to-day management of the shop

Qualification Required & Experience

The Person

•   Must be a distinguished professional with extensive experience in a similar capacity in a First World establishment or country
•   Similar experience in the USA, Europe, Asia and the Middle  East would be an added advantage
•   Must have beyond reproach and must exhibit a high sense of industry, organizational and people management skill
•   Must have extensive knowledge of the F&B industry with working knowledge  of food and hygiene standards
•   Must be able to create menus, calculate cost, develop and implement internal procedures and  run the operations independently
•   Must be able to train counter staff and motivate the team to be efficient and deliver on their objectives
•   Must have substantial experience with coffee, Smoothies, Bakery Items, Sandwiches, salads & Desserts
•   Must be able to set out quality standards provide customers with a world class Coffee Shop experience
•   The idle candidate must have a hospitality degree and the requisite professional qualifications with 2-3 years 5-star industry experience.
