The GCX Project seeks to recruit qualified professionals for the GCX Project, a recently launched project with the aim of establishing a Commodity Exchange, the first of its kind in Ghana, and in West Africa. It has the objective of creating an orderly, transparent, and efficient modern market to connect buyers and sellers, assured of quality, quantity, delivery, and payment. Job Summary

•   Responsible for the creation, dissemination of information both internal and external to the GCX Project and GCX, including website, quarterly reports, policy and market briefs, working closely with project management and stakeholders to determine who needs what information when, and developing a communication plan to disseminate the information in the chosen medium.
•   Responsible for developing and designing a rollout of communications for the GCX Project, involving outreach to various levels of stakeholders: farmers, industry, policymakers and regulators, investors, donors, international experts and global researchers.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor or higher degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, International Development or related field
•   At least 5 years professional communications experience
•   Excellent writing and oral skills in English and at least one national language
•   Proven ability to work with media; editing and proofreading skills
•   Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently
•   Demonstrated personal initiative, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and innovative and creative work are a must.
•   A well developed portfolio of professional writing
