African Plantations for Sustainable Development (APSD) Ghana Limited is currently developing large plantation areas in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana, with the intention of producing biomass-based renewable energy in the Districts of Atebubu of Sene. The company is now looking to fill the following position:- Community Liaison Officer

The successful applicant will actively communicate with all communities affected by the company’s projects and will further develop public participation and consultation and disclosure processes of APSD

The Applicant Will

•   Keep close contract and consult with district authorities, traditional leaders and local communities within impact area of APSD’s operations
•   Establish and operate public consultation arrangements of APSD, such as the Community Liaison forum
•   Provide development linkages, meet felt needs, and manage crisis and relationship between APSD and local communities

Qualification Required & Experience

The Applicant Must Have

•   Legal background
•   Dynamic personality
•   Have working experience in a commercial environment
•   Good communication skills( in English and Twi), knowledge of other local  language spoken in the Atebubu and Sene Districts is an advantage
•   Interest in field work
