A reputable rural Bank in the Ashanti Region is seeking to employ qualified persons as Credit/Microfinance Officers

Job Duties

• Appraise and analyse credit applications/screen group members with the view to identify and mitigating all risks associated with loan applications and make appropriate recommendations
• Promote group formation & animation, organise, moderate and supervise group meetings
• Ensure compliance with the credit policy and procedures
• Conduct credit activities within relevant regulations and laws governing credit administration
• Analyse financial data regarding loans requests for new, renewals and existing loans, including data provide by credit bureaus, other financial institutions
• Ensure that securities are provided, perfected and registered with Bank of Ghana
• Constantly monitor loans/groups, both on site and off site to minimise default
• Ensure maximum loan recovery in order to minimise non-performing loans
• Prepare monthly credit reports

Qualification Required & Experience

Candidates must satisfy the following requirements

• A good first Degree in a relevant field from an accredited University with 3 years experience in a similar role
• A professional qualification in the relevant field is an added advantage
