Job Vacancy For Decision Support Manager At British Council
Our client, the British Council is the UK's international organisation for education and cultural relations and works to build mutually beneficial relationships between people in the UK and Ghana. British Council Ghana is looking for innovative, articulate and self-motivated individuals to work in its Accra office to fill the following position:- Decision Support Manager
Role:
To support the Cluster Director and Country Director in ensuring that appropriate financial and output targets are set, that performance against targets in monitored and informs in-year action and future planning, to ensure the integrity of financial and other management information systems in line with corporate financial standards.
To also ensure efficient, secure & appropriately controlled financial environment, and to provide financial services & advice needed to guarantee effective management of financial resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Planning and Management
• Banking and treasury/statutory tasks
• Budget Monitoring and Management
• Decision Support: Context Analysis and Risk Management
• Payroll oversight
• Financial policy, compliance, current legistation and best practice
• HR Management
• Contract Management
Qualification Required & Experience
Pre-requisites:
• Good University Degree or HND from a recognised institution plus a minimum of two (2) years working experience in finance
• Have experience of managing events/projects.
• Want to do a great job - exceeding standards expected
• Be a strong team lead with excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Be IT literate in MS Office application
