A reputable Financial institution is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for employment to fill the position of Deputy Branch Manager.

Position: Deputy Branch Manager
Reports Directly To: Asst General Manager (Technical)

Job Purpose

•   To prospect for new businesses
•   To attend to client's underwriting and claims for effective and efficient brokerage service
•   To assist the Branch Manager provide direction and leadership to the Branch

Duties

•   Assist the Branch Manager to provide quality leadership at the Branch
•   Prospecting for new clients
•   Manage client's data and records
•   Audit and report on clients policies
•   To renew clients policies as appropriate
•   Monitor all major claims repudiations and where necessary participate in negotiation and settlement of same
•   Assist with the submission of monthly reports to Assistant General Manager (Technically) / Managing Director
•   To carry out any other duties that may be assigned by the Branch Manager

Qualification Required & Experience

•   University Graduate with four years post qualification relevant experience in insurance
•   Diploma in Insurance & any other professional qualification
