Duties:

•   The details of responsibilities shall be stated in appointment letter.

Conditions of Service: The terms and conditions of office, including tenure of office,will be specified in the instrument of appointment.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   The successful candidate shall be responsible to the Rector through the Librarian
•   Must have a minimum of Masters Degree in Library Science or Library Studies
•   Must have at least five (5) years post-qualification experience in a Senior Management position in the field of Librarianship in a tertiary institution or any relevant public service organization
•   Must have at least seven (7) refereed publications on Library administration/management issues
•   Must possess a very good communication and inter-personal skills
•   Must possess the capacity to motivate and direct staff
•   Computer literacy is required
•   Membership of a professional body in Librarianship would be an added advantage
