Job Vacancy For Director At Public Services Commission
The Civil Service Council invites application form suitably qualified Ghanaians who are self-motivated, with exceptional leadership qualities, both within and outside the Civil Service, to encumber the position of: Director Public Records and Archives Administration Department (PRAAD) of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service.
Object of the position:
To provide technical advice to the Head of Civil Service in matters relating to administration of public records and archives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and guidance for determination policies and objectives within the Department and the implementation of the relevant policies and progammes;
• Co-ordinate work within the Department and provide rules, guidelines and procedures to facilitate the achievement of targets set by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service;
• Ensure effective organization and development of training programmes consistent with sectoral policies and programmes;
• Establish systems for effective Departmental collaboration, harmonization and co-ordination to avoid duplication;
• Develop systems of effective work flow and feed-back on the activities of the Department;
• Put in place effective resource mobilization strategies for the sourcing of funds from Development Partners for effective implementation of the Department's programmes and activities
Salary and other conditions of service: Very attractive
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Public Records and Archival Studies/Public Administration/Management
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years' relevant experience, five (5) years of which must be in a senior management position

• Strong analytical and communication skills;
• Good knowledge of Ghana's development policy priorities and international treaties and protocols on information and records management;
• Technical and professional archival skills;
