Job Vacancy For Director of Economic and Community Empowerment Programmes At The Anglican Church



Job Description

•   The director shall be directly responsible for the overall management of the economic and community empowerment programmes- designing, planning, implementation and monitoring of programme activities, outputs and outcomes.
•   He/she shall also be responsible for the coordination and supervision of Project officers' activities.
•   Plan strategies for the implementation and monitoring of the Internal Province of Ghana strategic plan activities related to economic and community empowerment.
•   Prepare and present work plans and implementation strategies on programmes
•   Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports on programmes to the General Director and partners Fundraise for programmes.
•   Initiate plans and coordinate programmes implementation
•   Build partnership with governmental and non- governmental organisations
•   Do other jobs as and when the secretariat deems fit in the interest of the National Church

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor's degree with four (4) years related experience (experience in community development; agric and health work, not including national service.
•   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•   Good leadership skills.
•   Should possess good knowledge and skills in project proposal and report writing skills.
•   Be a good team player
•   Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required
•   Demonstrated ability to organise, plan, and carry out activities independently to meet deadlines
•   Should possess monitoring and evaluation as well as report writing skills
•   Must have proacrtive attitude
•   Ability to recognize and analyse problems, and develop solutions to them
•   Age limit (35 years and above)
